Public Transport - Bus
From Örebro Central Station, take Bus 5 towards 'Brickebacken'. The bus departs from the station multiple times a day. Get off at the 'Ljungvägen' stop. From there, walk approximately 500 meters east along Ljungvägen, and you will reach Markaskogen, located at Ljungvägen 11.
Walking
If you are in the city center of Örebro, head south towards Stortorget (the main square). From Stortorget, walk along Drottninggatan until you reach the intersection with Södra Strandgatan. Turn right on Södra Strandgatan and continue until you reach the bus stop 'Ljungvägen'. Take Bus 5 or walk 1.5 km along Ljungvägen to reach Markaskogen.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Örebro. Head south towards the river and then take the scenic bike paths along the riverbank. Continue towards Ljungvägen, and follow the signs for Markaskogen. The ride is approximately 3 km and offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature.
