Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Örebro city center, head towards the central train station (Örebro C). From the station, walk north on Järnvägsgatan until you reach the intersection with Storgatan. Turn left onto Storgatan and continue walking until you reach the large square (Stortorget). From Stortorget, head southwest towards the intersection with Drottninggatan. Continue on Drottninggatan until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Hagalundsvägen. Follow Hagalundsvägen for about 1.5 kilometers. You will find the Sommarro cultural reserve on your left at Hagalundsvägen 13.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    From Örebro city center, walk to the nearest bus stop at Stortorget. Take bus number 5 towards 'Medevi' or bus number 6 towards 'Vasastadskolan'. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the stop called 'Hagalund'. From there, walk along Hagalundsvägen for about 300 meters, and you will see the entrance to Sommarro cultural reserve on your right. The total journey time including walking is about 25-30 minutes.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in the city center. Start from the central square and head towards the riverfront, following the bike path along the river. Continue on the bike path until you reach the bridge at Haga. Cross the bridge and follow the road signs for Hagalundsvägen. Cycle along Hagalundsvägen for about 2 kilometers until you reach Sommarro cultural reserve at Hagalundsvägen 13. The total cycling time should be around 15-20 minutes.
