Kullaberg rises as an ancient bedrock ridge thrusting into the Kattegat, its steep cliffs dropping sharply into churning waters below. Towering up to 188 meters at Håkull, these precipices frame panoramic views across Öresund and Kattegatt, where sea meets sky in endless horizons. Rare plants like spring vetchling and grass pea thrive here, alongside keeled garlic and wild marjoram found nowhere else in Sweden. Marshes cover pockets of the peninsula, supporting frogs, lizards, and adders, while meadows graze roe deer, foxes, and badgers. Offshore, porpoises surface frequently, drawing safari enthusiasts.

Stone Age remnants dot the landscape: stone circles, grave mounds, and village ruins whisper of early inhabitants amid the rugged terrain. The 70-kilometer orange Kullaleden trail winds along cliff edges, certified as a Leading Quality Trail by the European Ramblers Association for its superior paths, signage, and nature immersion. Shorter loops access caves—over 20 in total—and geological formations revealing billions of years of earth's history.

At the western tip stands Kullen Lighthouse, Sweden's brightest, built in 1898 by architect Magnus Dahlander to guide ships through treacherous waters. Adjacent naturum Kullaberg visitor center immerses guests in the reserve's story through interactive exhibits from sky to sea. Touch starfish in saltwater aquariums, identify bird calls, and explore modules on mushrooms, flowers, and marine oddities, all managed by the County Administrative Board of Skåne.

Spring awakens with frog choruses in ponds and nesting birds in coastal strips. Summer swells with visitors around the lighthouse, but quieter beech forests at Björkeröd and misty Mölle mosse offer solitude. Autumn paints cliffs in golden hues, while winter storms amplify the wild drama. Year-round, the reserve demands Leave No Trace principles, with designated recycling at Josefinelust and Mölle chapel.
