Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from Malmö, take the E6 motorway north towards Helsingborg. After about 50 km, take exit 34 towards Båstad. Follow the signs for Båstad and continue on Route 24. Once in Båstad, follow Hovshallavägen towards the coast. The nature reserve will be on your left. There is a parking area available near the entrance to Hovs Hallar Nature Reserve. Please note that parking may incur a fee, and it's advisable to have some cash or a card ready.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Hovs Hallar via public transport from Malmö, take a train from Malmö Central Station to Båstad. The journey takes about 1 hour and trains run regularly. Once you arrive at Båstad Station, catch bus number 200 towards Ängelholm and get off at the stop called Hovs Hallar. The bus ride is approximately 20 minutes. Be sure to check the latest bus schedules as they may vary. Note that bus fares are applicable and can be paid with cash or card.

    If you're already in Båstad and prefer walking, from the Båstad train station, it's about a 4 km walk to Hovs Hallar Nature Reserve. Head west on Södra Strandvägen, then turn left onto Hovshallavägen. Follow the road until you reach the reserve entrance. The scenic walk will take about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
