Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Stockholm and head northeast on E18 towards Vaxholm. The drive takes about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Follow the signs for Vaxholm and take the exit for Vaxholm/Ljusterö. Once you enter Vaxholm, continue along the main road until you reach the waterfront area. There is parking available near the harbor where you can leave your car.

To reach Vaxholmen via public transportation, take the bus from Stockholm City (T-Centralen). Board bus 670 or 676 towards Vaxholm. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Get off at the Vaxholm station.
