Public Transport - Metro and Bus
Start your journey at T-Centralen, the main subway station in Stockholm. Take the Blue Line (Tunnelbana) towards Kungsträdgården and get off at T-Centralen. From there, transfer to the Red Line towards Mörby Centrum and travel to Tekniska Högskolan station. Exit the station and walk to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Take bus number 670 towards Vaxholm. The bus will provide a scenic route through the archipelago. Get off at the stop 'Ytterbyvägen' which is near Ytterby Gruva.

From Stockholm Central Station, board a train towards Norrtälje or Vaxholm. After enjoying the scenic train ride, disembark at Vaxholm station. Once you arrive at Vaxholm, exit the train station and locate the bus stop for local buses. Take bus number 670 towards Vaxholm and get off at 'Ytterbyvägen' stop. Ytterby Gruva will be a short walk from there.

If you prefer a more active route and are already in Vaxholm, you can walk or rent a bike from the town center. Head northeast on Ytterbyvägen, following the signs towards Ytterby Gruva.
