Car
If you're driving, head towards the E4 highway. From Stockholm, take E4 south towards Jönköping. After approximately 300 km, take the exit toward Gränna (Road 50). Follow the signs for Gränna. Once you reach Gränna, follow local signs to Brahehus Castle Ruin, which is located on a hill overlooking the town. There is a parking area nearby, which is free of charge.
Public Transportation
To reach Brahehus Castle Ruin by public transportation, take a train from Stockholm to Jönköping. The journey takes roughly 3-4 hours. From Jönköping, you can catch a bus to Gränna. Once in Gränna, it's about a 20-minute walk to the castle ruin. Follow the signs towards Brahehus, or use a map application for precise walking directions.
Walking
If you are already in Gränna, you can walk to Brahehus Castle Ruin. Start from the town center and head towards Brahehus, following the uphill path. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes and offers scenic views of the surrounding area. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as the path can be steep in parts.
