Winter is the obvious peak season: the village fills with snow-sport programs, childcare options and a steady rhythm of daytime skiing and après activity. In summer the same infrastructure becomes a base for hiking, mountain-biking and low-altitude outdoor pursuits around Svansjön and nearby trails, with some lodging and leisure facilities staying open to serve non-winter visitors. The built environment remains modest in scale to preserve sightlines to surrounding pine-clad hills.
