If you are traveling by car, start from Uppsala and take the E4 highway south. After approximately 30 km, take the exit towards Norrtälje (Road 76). Continue on Road 76 for about 25 km until you reach Rimbo. In Rimbo, follow the signs to Ekebyholm Castle, which is located on Ekebyholmsvägen. The total drive takes around 1 hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Ekebyholm Castle using public transport, take a train from Uppsala Central Station to Norrtälje. Trains operate regularly, and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Norrtälje, you will need to transfer to a local bus heading to Rimbo. The bus ride takes around 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Rimbo' stop and walk about 1.5 km along Ekebyholmsvägen to reach the castle. Be sure to check the local bus schedule as it may vary.
