Bus
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Ascona, Piazza'. It is located in the center of town, near the lakefront. Once at the bus stop, take the PostBus line 321 towards 'Lavertezzo'. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the next departure. Once you arrive at the 'Lavertezzo, Post' stop, you will be right in the heart of Lavertezzo, and from there, you can easily walk to your destination.
Hiking
If you prefer a more adventurous route, you can hike to Lavertezzo from Ascona. Start from the center of Ascona and head towards the 'Sentiero della Valle Verzasca' trailhead, which is located near the 'Ascona, Camping' area. The hike is about 10 kilometers and takes around 2.5 to 3 hours. Follow the signs for the trail that leads along the Verzasca River, enjoying stunning views of the valley. Upon reaching Lavertezzo, you will see the iconic stone bridge and the picturesque village.
