Walking
If you are in the center of Ascona, start at the Piazza Giuseppe Motta by the lake. From the Piazza, head northeast along the lakeside promenade. Continue walking for about 30 minutes, enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Maggiore on your right. As you approach the border with Italy, keep an eye out for road signs indicating Porlezza. Once you reach the SS340 road, follow it to your left. The Lungolago will be on your right side shortly after.
Public Transport
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, 'Ascona, Piazza'. Take bus number 1 towards 'Luino'. After about 25 minutes, get off at 'Porlezza, SS340'. Once you exit the bus, you will see Lungolago directly ahead, just a short walk down the road. Enjoy the scenic waterfront!
