Walk
From the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade (Lungolago). Once you reach the promenade, turn left and follow it along the lake. After about 1 kilometer, you'll reach the ferry terminal. From there, take a ferry to Orta San Giulio. The ferry ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arriving at Orta San Giulio, walk up Via Caire Albertoletti for about 10 minutes; Palazzo Penotti Ubertini will be on your left at number 31.

From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located on Via Cattori. Take Bus Line 1 towards Locarno. Get off at the Locarno train station. From Locarno, take a train to Orta San Giulio. The journey will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Orta San Giulio station, exit and walk up Via Caire Albertoletti for about 10 minutes; Palazzo Penotti Ubertini will be on your left at number 31.
