Walking
From the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade (Lungolago). Walk along the promenade towards the north until you reach the ferry terminal (Navigazione Lago Maggiore). This should take about 15-20 minutes. Once at the terminal, take the ferry to Como. The ferry ride offers beautiful views and takes approximately 50 minutes. After arriving at Como, disembark and walk toward the main square, Piazza Cavour. From there, follow the signs to Piazza Pietro Perretta, which is just a short 10-minute walk south of the square.
Public Transport
Start at the Ascona bus station (Posta). Take the bus line that heads to Locarno (Bus Line 1). The journey will take around 10 minutes. Get off at the Locarno train station. From there, catch a train heading to Como. The train journey will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Como, exit the train station and walk towards Piazza Cavour. From the square, head south on Via Vittorio Emanuele until you reach Piazza Pietro Perretta, which is about a 10-minute walk.
