From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at 'Piazza Giuseppe Motta'. Take bus number 1 towards 'Lido di Locarno'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop 'Locarno, Stazione FFS'. Here, transfer to bus number 321 towards 'Angera'. Make your way to the 'Locarno Lido' ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to 'Angera'. Enjoy the scenic ride on Lake Maggiore. Once you reach Angera, exit the ferry, and you will see signs leading to Rocca di Angera. It is about a 15-minute walk from the ferry terminal to Rocca di Angera at Via Rocca Castello, 2.
