Walking
Starting from the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade (Lungolago). Walk along the promenade until you reach the intersection with Via Borgo. Turn left onto Via Borgo and continue straight. At the end of Via Borgo, continue onto Via delle Scuole. This road will take you uphill. Follow the signs toward Ronco sopra Ascona, and keep walking until you reach the village. Upon entering Ronco, follow the signs for Sentiero dei Ruvidi. The trailhead is located at Via Livurcio, where you will find the entrance.
Public Transport
From the Ascona PostBus station, take the PostBus line towards Ronco sopra Ascona. The bus ride is approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Ronco sopra Ascona, Posta' stop. From there, walk uphill on Via Livurcio for about 10 minutes. You will find the entrance to Sentiero dei Ruvidi on your right.
