Walking
Start at the center of Ascona, specifically from the Piazza G. Motta. Head towards the lakefront promenade, following the path along the lake. Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, take a ferry to Como. Once you arrive in Como, exit the ferry terminal and locate the funicular railway station, which is situated a short walk from the terminal. Take the funicular up to Brunate. After exiting the funicular, follow the signs toward Faro Voltiano, which is a short walk from the station, located on Via Giacomo Scalini.

From Ascona, make your way to the nearest bus stop and take a bus to Lugano. Once in Lugano, transfer to a train heading to Como. After arriving in Como, proceed to the funicular railway station near the ferry terminal. Take the funicular to Brunate, then follow the signs to Faro Voltiano on Via Giacomo Scalini. The lighthouse is approximately a 15-minute walk from the funicular station.
