Starting from the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade. Walk along the promenade in the direction of Locarno. Continue walking until you reach the end of the promenade, which will take approximately 15-20 minutes. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Maggiore and the surrounding mountains. Once you reach the end of the promenade, continue straight onto Via della Pace. After a short walk, you will come to a bridge that leads you over the river. Cross the bridge. On the other side, keep walking straight until you reach the main road, Via delle Scuole. Turn left onto Via delle Scuole and continue walking for another 10 minutes. You will soon see the Monumento a Giuseppe Cattori on your right, located at 6600 Muralto.
