Getting There
Walking
From the center of Ascona, head towards the Lakefront promenade (Lungolago). Walk along the promenade until you reach the 'Piazza della Repubblica' square. Here, you can find signs pointing to the ferry station. Walk towards the ferry station and take a ferry to 'Como'. The ferry ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, offering beautiful views of the lake. Once you arrive at Como, exit the ferry and follow the signs to the funicular railway station (Funicolare Como-Brunate) located near the waterfront. Purchase your ticket for the funicular and ride it up to Brunate. Upon reaching Brunate, exit the funicular and turn left. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach Piazza Bonacossa, where your destination is located.

Start from Ascona's main square, 'Piazza G. Motta', and walk to the nearest bus stop. Take bus line 316 towards 'Locarno' and get off at 'Locarno, Stazione'. From there, transfer to the train station and take a train towards 'Como Lago'. After arriving at Como, follow the signs to the funicular railway (Funicolare Como-Brunate). Buy a ticket for the funicular and ascend to Brunate. Once you exit the funicular, head left and walk for about 10 minutes to reach Piazza Bonacossa.
