Walking
Start from the center of Ascona at the Piazza G. Motta. Head towards the lakefront promenade, enjoying the view of Lake Maggiore. Continue along the promenade until you reach the end, then turn left onto Via R. Simen. Follow this road as it curves slightly to the right. Continue straight until you reach Via San Francesco. Turn left on Via San Francesco and walk straight for about 5 minutes. You will see Piazza Sant'Antonio on your right. The square is easily recognizable with its charming architecture and vibrant atmosphere.
Public Transport
If you prefer public transport, you can take a bus from Ascona to Locarno. Head to the nearest bus stop, which is usually near the main square or the lakeside. Take bus line 31 towards Locarno. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Disembark at the 'Locarno, Piazza Grande' stop. From there, walk towards the lakefront and follow the same directions as above, heading towards the promenade, then turning left onto Via R. Simen, and continuing straight until you reach Piazza Sant'Antonio.
