Getting There

Walking
From the center of Ascona, head towards the lakeside promenade and follow it south. Continue along the promenade until you reach the ferry terminal (Terminale Ascona). From there, take a ferry to Como. The ferry ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Como's ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk straight towards the Piazza Vittoria, which is just a 5-minute walk. You will see the Porta Torre at the end of the square.

Public Transport
From Ascona, walk to the nearest bus stop (Ascona, Posta). Take the bus to Locarno, which is just a short 10-minute ride. Once in Locarno, transfer to a train heading to Como. The train ride will take about 40 minutes. Upon reaching Como, exit the train station and head towards Piazza Vittoria, which is about a 10-minute walk. You will find Porta Torre at the square.
