Tram
If you are starting from the Basel SBB train station, head to the tram stop located directly outside the main entrance. Take tram number 10, which is heading towards 'Riehen, Grenze' or tram number 8 towards 'Kleinhüningen'. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Disembark at the 'Kannenfeldpark' stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk. Exit the tram and walk straight along 'Kannenfeldstrasse'. You will pass by the park on your right. Continue walking until you reach 'Elsässerstrasse'. Turn left, and you will find Basiliskbrunnen at the end of the street.
Bus
From the Basel SBB train station, make your way to the bus stop outside the station. Board bus number 36 heading towards 'Hochschule für Musik'. After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the 'Elsässerstrasse' stop. Once you disembark, walk a short distance down 'Elsässerstrasse' and you will see Basiliskbrunnen on your right.
Walking
If you prefer to walk and are near the Basel Cathedral (Basler Münster), it is about a 20-minute walk. Head south from the cathedral towards Mittlere Brücke (Middle Bridge). Cross the bridge and continue walking straight until you reach 'Heuelstrasse'. Turn right and walk along this street until you reach 'Elsässerstrasse'. Turn left onto 'Elsässerstrasse', and after a few minutes, Basiliskbrunnen will be on your left.
