Walking

Once you reach the river, turn left and walk along the waterfront. You will see a pathway leading to the Pfalz area. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Marktplatz.

Tram

You can also take the tram to get closer to Basler Pfalz. From any stop in Grossbasel, find a tram that goes towards the Rhine. You can take tram lines 8 or 10 from stops like Barfüsserplatz or Marktplatz. Get off at the 'Kunstmuseum' stop. From there, walk straight towards the river, and you will find the entrance to Pfalz. The tram fare is approximately CHF 4.40 for a single journey.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing services available in Basel. Head towards the Rhine River, following the cycle paths along the riverbank.
