If you are near the city center, take Tram Line 8 or 10 towards 'Basel, Bahnhof SBB' and get off at the 'Münster' stop. Once you exit the tram, walk straight for about 3 minutes, passing the Basel Minster on your right. You will reach Münsterplatz, the square in front of the Minster.
