Walking
If you are starting from the heart of Basel's Old Town, such as from the Basler Rathaus (Town Hall), head northeast on Marktplatz towards Mühlegraben. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Mühlegraben street. Turn right onto Mühlegraben. The Basel City Wall will be visible on your left after approximately 200 meters. The walk should take around 10 minutes.

Public Transport
If you are further away in Old Town, you can take a tram. Head to the nearest tram stop, such as 'Marktplatz' or 'University', and take tram line 8 towards 'Riehen' or tram line 10 towards 'Gundeldingen'. Get off at 'Barfüsserplatz' stop, which is approximately 2 stops away. From there, walk northeast on Spalentor until you reach the Basel City Wall in about 5 minutes.
