Walking
If you are in the center of Bern, start at the Zytglogge clock tower. Head east on Kramgasse towards the Bundesplatz. Continue straight until you reach the Bundesplatz, where you can see the Federal Palace (Bundeshaus). From here, head towards the Aare River by taking a left onto Münsterplattform. Walk down the steps towards the river and follow the path along the riverbank until you reach the bridge called the Nydeggasse. Cross the bridge, and once on the other side, head straight until you reach the English Gardens (Englische Anlagen). The Aussichtspunkt Terrasse is located at Englische Anlagen 10, where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city.

Public Transport
From Bern's main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), take tram line 9 towards Guisanplatz Expo. Get off at the stop called 'Zytglogge'. From there, walk towards the Bundesplatz and follow the same directions provided for walking. Alternatively, you can take tram line 6 towards Wabern and get off at the stop 'Münster'. From there, walk towards Münsterplattform and down the stairs to the Aare River, then follow the walking directions to the Aussichtspunkt Terrasse.
