Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Bern Main Train Station (Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head straight towards Bahnhofplatz. From there, take the tram line 9 or 10 towards "Gümmenen" or "Wabern". Get off at the stop "Zytglogge". From Zytglogge, walk down Kramgasse until you reach the "Käppelijungfrau" fountain. Turn left onto Münsterplattform and walk straight until you reach the Bern Cathedral (Berner Münster). The bridge is located just beyond the cathedral.

    From the Bern Main Train Station, board tram line 9 towards "Gümmenen". After approximately 10 minutes, get off at the "Zytglogge" stop. From there, walk down Kramgasse for about 5 minutes until you reach the "Käppelijungfrau" fountain. Turn left and proceed to Münsterplattform, where you will see the Bern Cathedral (Berner Münster). The Berne Bridge is located just past the cathedral.

    If you are near the Federal Palace (Bundeshaus), take bus line 11 towards "Wabern" from the nearby bus stop. After about 5 minutes, alight at the "Käppelijungfrau" stop.
