Getting There

  • Walking

    From Bern's main train station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), head east towards Bahnhofplatz. As you exit the station, keep to the right and walk down Bahnhofstraße. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kramgasse. Turn left onto Kramgasse, a historic street lined with shops and cafes. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, passing the Zytglogge (the Clock Tower) on your left. After passing the clock tower, continue straight until you reach the large square known as Münsterplattform. From the square, head towards the Cathedral (Berner Münster) which will be on your right. Just past the cathedral, take a right onto Zeughausgasse. The Französische Kirche will be located on your left at Zeughausgasse 8.

    If you prefer to take public transport, from Bern Hauptbahnhof, take tram line 9 towards Gümligen. Ride for 3 stops and get off at the 'Zytglogge' stop. From there, walk straight down Kramgasse for about 5 minutes, passing shops and cafes. After the Zytglogge, continue until you reach the Münsterplattform. Turn right towards the Berner Münster and then take another right onto Zeughausgasse. The Französische Kirche will be on your left at Zeughausgasse 8.
