Getting There

Walking
From the Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), exit the station and head towards the main street, Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight on Bahnhofstrasse until you reach the Zytglogge clock tower. Continue past the clock tower along Kramgasse street, which will lead you into the heart of the old town. After a few minutes, you will reach the intersection with Marktgasse. Turn left onto Marktgasse and walk about 200 meters. The Käfigturm will be on your right at Marktgasse 67.

Board a tram from the Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof) on line 9 towards Gümmenen. Ride for two stops and get off at the Zytglogge stop. From there, walk down Kramgasse street towards the market square. Continue until you reach the intersection with Marktgasse and turn left. The Käfigturm is located at Marktgasse 67, just a short walk down the street on your right.

From the Bern Main Train Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof), look for bus line 21 towards Wankdorf Bahnhof. Ride for three stops and get off at the stop called 'Käfigturm'. After exiting the bus, you will see the Käfigturm directly in front of you at Marktgasse 67.
