Public Transport
To reach Stockhorn from Bern, start by taking the train from Bern Main Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof) to Erlenbach im Simmental. Look for trains heading towards Zweisimmen or Spiez. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes. Upon arrival at Erlenbach im Simmental station, exit the station and follow the signs towards the Stockhorn cable car station, which is about a 15-minute walk. You’ll need to walk along the main road, passing through the village until you see the cable car station on your left.
Bus
From Bern, take tram line 9 from the city center (like from the Zytglogge clock tower) to the Bern Main Station (Bern Hauptbahnhof). Once there, switch to bus line 21 towards Erlenbach im Simmental. The bus ride will take around 45 minutes. After you get off the bus at Erlenbach, follow the signs to the Stockhorn cable car station, which is only a short walk away.

If you are already in the vicinity of Erlenbach im Simmental, you can reach Stockhorn by walking. From the town center, head towards the main road and walk in the direction of the Stockhorn cable car station. The walk is scenic and takes approximately 20-30 minutes depending on your pace.
