Car
From Crans-Montana, take Route de la Moubra heading southeast. Continue on this road as it becomes Route de la Poste. After about 11 km, merge onto Route de Sion (N9) towards Sion. Drive for approximately 15 km before taking the exit towards Zermatt. Follow the signs to Zermatt, which will take you on the N9 and then onto the Mattertalstrasse. Upon reaching Zermatt, park at one of the designated parking areas, as Zermatt is a car-free village. From the parking area, you can take a shuttle bus or walk to the Leisee, which is about a 30-minute walk from the center of Zermatt.
Public Transport
From Crans-Montana, go to the local bus station and take the bus to Sion. Once you arrive at Sion, transfer to a train heading to Zermatt. The train journey takes about 2 hours, so ensure you check the schedule in advance. Upon arrival in Zermatt, exit the train station and follow signs to the Leisee. It is a short walk from the station, about 20 minutes through the charming streets of Zermatt, which will lead you to the lake.
