Walking
From the Gornergrat railway station, head down the well-marked path towards Leisee. The walk is approximately 20 minutes. Follow the signs indicating 'Leisee' and enjoy the scenic views along the way. The path is mostly downhill, making it an easy and pleasant walk.
Public Transportation
If you prefer not to walk, you can take the Gornergrat Bahn train down to Zermatt. Once you arrive at Zermatt station, walk to the bus terminal located just outside the station. From there, take bus number 1 towards 'Leisee.' The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Leisee' stop and follow the short walking path to the lake.
