From Gornergrat, follow the well-marked trails leading towards Riffelsee. The hike is approximately 30-45 minutes. Take the path that leads downhill towards the Riffelseeweg. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the trail to Riffelsee, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Matterhorn along the way. The trail is mostly downhill and offers several scenic viewpoints.

Public Transportation
If you prefer not to hike, you can take the Gornergrat Railway down to Zermatt. Once in Zermatt, walk to the bus station and take bus line 5 towards Riffelsee. The bus will take you closer to the trailhead for Riffelsee. After getting off the bus, follow the signs for Riffelsee, which is a short walk from the bus stop.
