Getting There

After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the station called Betten. Once you arrive at Betten, follow the signs to the aerial cableway station, which is a short walk from the train station.

    At the Betten cable car station, purchase a ticket for the aerial cableway to Bettmeralp. The ride takes about 15 minutes and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Once you arrive in Bettmeralp, you will find yourself in the village, and from there, follow the signs for the Glacier d'Aletsch.

  • Walking

    After disembarking from the cable car in Bettmeralp, head towards the marked trails leading to the Glacier d'Aletsch. The trail is well-maintained and takes about 30 to 45 minutes to reach the glacier viewpoint. Follow the signs that indicate the direction to the glacier, and enjoy the beautiful alpine scenery on your way.
