Getting there

Walking

From the center of Grindelwald, head towards the main train station (Grindelwald Bahnhof). As you exit the station, look for signs directing you to the bus stop. Board the bus heading to Interlaken. After approximately 15 minutes, disembark at Unterseen. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the Harder Kulm funicular station, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs for Harder Kulm; you will cross a small bridge and continue on the path until you reach the funicular station. Purchase your ticket and enjoy the ride up to Harder Kulm.

Bus

From Grindelwald, take the local bus from the bus stop near the train station. Board the bus that says 'Interlaken Ost'. The journey will take around 15 minutes. Once you reach Unterseen, get off at the stop closest to the Harder Kulm funicular station. After disembarking, follow the signs for Harder Kulm. It is a short walk of about 10 minutes to the funicular station where you can purchase your ticket for the ascent.

Train and Funicular

Start at Grindelwald train station and take a train to Interlaken Ost. The journey will take about 30 minutes. From Interlaken Ost, exit the station and walk to the Harder Kulm funicular station, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs for Harder Kulm; you will cross a road and head up the path leading to the funicular. Purchase your ticket at the station and then enjoy the scenic ride up to Harder Kulm.
