    From Grindelwald train station, exit the building and head towards the main road (Grindelwaldstrasse). Turn left and walk straight along Grindelwaldstrasse. Continue for about 1 km until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the road leading towards the First cable car station. Follow the signs for 'Firstbahn'. After approximately 300 meters, you will see the Firstbahn cable car station on your left. Here, you can purchase a ticket for the cable car.

    Once at the Firstbahn station, board the cable car that will take you up to First. The ride will provide you with stunning views of the mountains and will take about 25 minutes. When you arrive at First, exit the cable car and follow the signs towards the 'Canyon Swing'. The walk to the Canyon Swing from the First station is about a 15-minute hike, and you will follow a well-marked trail that leads you through beautiful alpine scenery.

  • Hiking

    After arriving at First, follow the trail signs towards the Canyon Swing. The path is well-maintained and relatively easy to navigate. You will pass several scenic viewpoints where you can take photos. Continue walking until you reach the Canyon Swing area. The total hiking time from First to the Canyon Swing should take around 15-20 minutes.
