Getting There

Train
If you're starting from Interlaken Ost train station, board a train heading towards Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the Unterseen station. From Unterseen station, head south on Bahnhofstrasse, then turn left onto Spielmatte street. Continue walking straight for about 500 meters until you reach Schaalbrücke.

Bus
From the Interlaken West bus station, take bus number 21 towards Unterseen. The ride will take around 10 minutes, and you will need to get off at the 'Schaalbrücke' stop. The bridge is just a short walk from the bus stop, located on Spielmatte street.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from Interlaken Ost train station. Head south on Höheweg street towards the Aare river. Cross the bridge over the Aare and continue along the riverbank. Follow the signs towards Unterseen and after about a 30-minute walk, you will arrive at Schaalbrücke located on Spielmatte street.
