Train and Bus
From Interlaken Ost train station, take a train to Meiringen. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Meiringen, exit the train station and head to the bus stop located just outside the station. Take the PostBus line towards Innertkirchen. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Innertkirchen, Bahnhof' stop. From there, follow the signs to Stein Glacier, which is about a 30-minute hike from the bus stop. Follow the trail markers, and you'll enjoy beautiful scenery along the way.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in Interlaken. Start your journey from the center of Interlaken and head towards the Aare River. Follow the cycling path along the river towards Meiringen. The ride will take about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon reaching Meiringen, you can continue by taking the PostBus to Innertkirchen, as described above. The bike ride offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
