Train
From Interlaken Ost train station, take a train towards Bern. The journey to Thun takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Thun train station, exit the station and walk straight down Bahnhofstrasse towards the center of Thun. After about 10 minutes, turn left onto Oberen Hauptgasse and continue until you reach Schlossberg. Follow the signs directing you to Thun Castle (Schloss Thun) at Schlossberg 1.

From the Interlaken West bus station, take bus number 21 towards Thun. The ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the Thun Bahnhof stop. From there, exit the bus station and head straight onto Bahnhofstrasse. Walk straight for about 10 minutes, then make a left onto Oberen Hauptgasse, and follow the signs for Thun Castle located at Schlossberg 1.

From Interlaken, you can also take a scenic boat ride on Lake Thun. Head to the Interlaken West pier and board a boat heading towards Thun. The boat ride will take around 1 hour. Once you arrive at Thun, disembark and walk to the town center. Head straight on Seestrasse, then turn left onto Oberen Hauptgasse and continue walking until you reach Schlossberg, where Thun Castle is located at Schlossberg 1.
