Travel Guide to Port Lausanne-Ouchy

Getting There

• Metro

  If you are near the Lausanne Metro station, take the M2 line (the blue line) in the direction of Ouchy. Ride the metro for 4 stops until you reach the 'Ouchy' station. Once you exit the metro, follow the signs pointing towards the lake. You will exit onto Avenue de la Gare. Turn right and walk straight until you reach the waterfront. Continue along the promenade, and you will see the entrance to Port Lausanne-Ouchy on your left.

• Bus

  You can take buses that head toward Ouchy. Look for lines 1, 2, and 3, which stop near the lake. Board the bus and travel towards 'Ouchy, Port.' Once you get off, follow the signs toward the lake. Walk towards the lakefront, and you will find Port Lausanne-Ouchy nearby, situated at Pl. du Vieux-Port 1.

• Walking

  If you are in the city center of Lausanne, you can enjoy a scenic walk to Port Lausanne-Ouchy. Head towards the lake by walking down Rue de la Mercerie, which will take you to Esplanade de Montbenon. Continue walking straight until you reach the Parc de l'Hermitage. Keep walking down the hill towards the lakefront, and follow the path along the lake until you reach Port Lausanne-Ouchy located at Pl. du Vieux-Port 1.

• Taxi/ride-sharing

  For a more comfortable trip, you can use a taxi or ride-sharing service. Simply request a ride to 'Pl. du Vieux-Port 1, 1006 Lausanne' and inform the driver that you want to go to Port Lausanne-Ouchy. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.
