From Flon, head towards the escalators located near the Flon metro station. Take the escalators up to the street level. Once you reach the top, turn left onto Avenue de l'Université. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Allée Ernest-Ansermet. Turn right onto Allée Ernest-Ansermet, and you will find Esplanade de Montbenon a few minutes' walk ahead, positioned beautifully overlooking the city.

From Flon station, you can take Metro Line 1 (Direction Ouchy) or Line 2 (Direction Épalinges) and travel one stop to the station 'Lausanne-Gare'. Exit the train and follow the signs to the 'Place de la Gare' exit. Once outside, walk straight along Avenue de la Gare, then turn left onto Avenue de l'Université. Continue walking until you reach Allée Ernest-Ansermet, then turn right. Esplanade de Montbenon will be ahead on your right.
