If you're near the Lausanne Metro station, take Line M2 towards Ouchy. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride. Disembark at the 'Ouchy' station, which is approximately 5 stops from the main station. From Ouchy station, exit the train and head towards the lakefront. You will see the beautiful Lake Geneva ahead.

From the Ouchy Metro station, walk straight towards the lakeside promenade. Once you reach the promenade, turn right and follow the path along the lake. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Gare. You will see a sign pointing towards 'Place des Pionnières'. Follow this direction and proceed up the hill.

Bus
Alternatively, from the Lausanne main train station (Gare), you can take Bus line 21 or 22. Board the bus and travel towards 'Ouchy'. Get off at the stop 'Ouchy, Port'. From there, follow the same walking directions towards the lakeside promenade and continue as previously instructed.

Walking
If you are starting from the Lausanne Cathedral, walk down towards Place de la Palud. From there, head towards Rue de la Mercerie and continue straight until you reach Avenue de la Gare. Turn left onto Avenue de la Gare and continue until you see the signs for Place des Pionnières. It’s a pleasant walk that should take about 15-20 minutes.
