    If you are starting from Lausanne's main train station (Gare de Lausanne), exit the station and head towards the main street (Avenue de la Gare). Continue straight until you reach Place de l'Europe, then cross the road towards Rue de Genève. Follow Rue de Genève until you reach Rue du Grand-Pont. Turn left onto Rue du Grand-Pont and continue walking. You will see the beautiful Palais de Rumine on your right. Keep walking until you reach Place de la Palud.
