If you are starting from the Cathedral of Notre-Dame, head down the steps located at the rear of the Cathedral. Follow the pathway through the small park until you reach Rue de la Barre. Turn left onto Rue de la Barre and continue straight. You will soon see the charming streets lined with shops and cafes. Continue until you reach Place du Vieux-Port, which will be on your right. The fountain is located prominently in this square.

From the Place de la Palud, walk towards the Rue de la Mercerie. Continue straight until you reach the end of the street, where it joins with Rue de la Madeleine. Turn right onto Rue de la Madeleine and keep walking straight. You will eventually arrive at Place du Vieux-Port, where the fountain is a central feature.

If you are near the Lausanne Historical Museum, exit the museum and head down the hill towards the lake. Take the path that leads you down to the lakeside promenade. Once at the promenade, turn left and follow the path along the lake until you see signs for Old Town. Ascend the steps leading up to the main square, and you will be at Place du Vieux-Port with the fountain directly in front of you.
