From the center of Locarno, head towards the Locarno train station. Once you reach the station, you can catch a train towards Bellano. Make sure to check the train schedule for the next departure. After about 1 hour, you will arrive at Bellano train station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the main road (Via XX Settembre). Follow this road until you see signposts directing you towards 'Camaggiore' or 'Alpe Camaggiore'. It will take approximately 30 minutes to walk this distance through scenic paths. Keep an eye out for local signs as you approach your destination.

Start at the Locarno bus terminal, located near the train station. Look for buses heading towards Bellano. You can ask for assistance at the information desk if you're unsure which bus to take. The bus ride will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Bellano, disembark and head towards the main road (Via XX Settembre). Follow the walking directions as described above for the last part to reach Alpe Camaggiore.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Locarno to Alpe Camaggiore. You can book a taxi at the Locarno train station or hail one from the street.
