Public Transport (Tram)
From Lucerne Hauptbahnhof (the main train station), take Tram Line 1 towards Zürich. The journey will take about 50 minutes. Once you reach Zürich, get off at the 'Zürich, Bahnhofquai/HB' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Mühlesteg. Exit the tram and head south towards the river. Continue walking straight until you reach the riverbank, then turn right. Follow the river until you see the Mühlesteg bridge.

Walking
If you prefer to walk and are starting from the city center of Lucerne, head towards the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and cross it. After crossing, continue along the riverside heading towards the train station. When you reach the station, follow the previous public transport instructions to get to Zürich.

From Lucerne, take a train to Zürich HB (Zürich Hauptbahnhof), which takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Zürich HB, follow the signs to exit the train station towards the riverfront. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Mühlesteg. Head south towards the river, turn right and walk along the waterfront until you see the bridge.
