Getting There

  • Tram

    If you are starting from Zurich Hauptbahnhof (main train station), take tram line 4 or 6 from the tram stop located directly outside the main station. Board the tram in the direction of 'Tiefenbrunnen' (for line 4) or 'Escher-Wyss-Platz' (for line 6). Ride for 2 stops and get off at 'Bellevue'. From Bellevue, you can walk to Giacometti-Halle. Head towards the lake and walk along the waterfront until you reach Bahnhofquai. Turn left and walk for about 5 minutes until you arrive at Bahnhofquai 3, where Giacometti-Halle is located.

  • Bus

    From Zurich Hauptbahnhof, you can also take bus line 31 from the bus terminal next to the train station. Board the bus in the direction of 'Zürich, Hardplatz' and travel for 3 stops until you reach 'Zürich, Selnau'. From there, exit the bus and walk towards the river. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Bahnhofquai. Make a right turn and walk along Bahnhofquai for about 5 minutes to reach Giacometti-Halle at Bahnhofquai 3.

    If you prefer to walk, and are starting from Zurich Hauptbahnhof, head out of the main entrance towards the river. Cross the bridge over the river Limmat and continue walking straight towards the lake. Once you reach the lake, turn left and follow the path along the waterfront. This scenic walk will take you along the promenade, and after about 15 minutes, you will arrive at Bahnhofquai. Giacometti-Halle will be on your left at Bahnhofquai 3.
