    From Lugano, head to the Lugano train station (Stazione di Lugano). Once there, purchase a ticket to Ascona. Board the train heading towards Locarno. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the Locarno train station, exit the station and look for the bus terminal adjacent to it. Take bus number 1 or 2 towards Ascona. The bus ride will take about 10 minutes. Disembark at the stop named 'Ascona, Piazza Giuseppe Motta'. From there, it is a short walk to the lakeside promenade and main attractions of Ascona.

    From the central bus station in Lugano (Stazione Autolinee), take bus number 323 or 325 towards Ascona. The bus departs frequently, and the ride takes about 40 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest departures. You will arrive directly in Ascona. Once you disembark at the bus stop in Ascona, follow the signs towards the lakeside promenade, which is just a short walk away.
