Train
From Lugano, walk to the Lugano train station ('Stazione di Lugano') which is located in the city center. You can reach the station by heading northeast along Via Giuseppe Mazzini until you reach Piazza della Riforma, then continue straight onto Via F. Pelli. The station will be on your left. Take a train towards Como. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Como San Giovanni station, exit the station and head southwest on Viale Giuseppe Garibaldi. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Vincenzo Bellini. Turn left onto Via Vincenzo Bellini, and the Teatro Sociale will be on your right at number 3.
Bus
From Lugano, walk to the bus stop 'Lugano, Stazione' located next to the train station. Look for bus number 2 or 5 headed towards 'Como'. The bus ride takes approximately 40-50 minutes. Get off at the 'Como, Piazza Cavour' stop. From there, walk towards the lakefront and then head northeast along the waterfront. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach Via Vincenzo Bellini. Turn left onto Via Vincenzo Bellini and you will find Teatro Sociale at number 3.
Ferry
Head to the Lugano waterfront and find the ferry terminal. Take a ferry towards 'Como', which gives you a scenic view of the lake. This journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Como, disembark and walk towards the main square 'Piazza Cavour'. From there, walk northeast along the waterfront and turn left onto Via Vincenzo Bellini. The Teatro Sociale will be on your right at number 3.
