Hiking
From the center of Mürren, head towards the Schilthorn cable car station. Follow the signs for the Schilthorn (Piz Gloria) as you walk along the main road. Once you reach the station, take the cable car to Piz Gloria. After enjoying the views, take the cable car back down to the station and head towards the trail marked for Kandersteg. Follow the trail signs to Balmhornhütte, which will lead you through beautiful mountain scenery. Ensure you have a good hiking map or download a GPS app before heading out.

From Mürren, take the cable car down to Stechelberg. From Stechelberg, transfer to the bus that goes to the Kandersteg train station. At Kandersteg, take the train towards Brig and get off at the Kandersteg station. From the station, follow the signs to Balmhornhütte, which is a hiking trail that will take you through scenic paths. Make sure to check the bus and train schedules in advance to plan your journey efficiently.
