Getting There

Train
From Mürren, walk to the Mürren cable car station. Take the cable car down to the valley station at Grütschalp. Once you arrive, transfer to the train station located nearby. Take the train to Lauterbrunnen (approximately 15 minutes). At Lauterbrunnen, transfer to another train that heads towards Interlaken. Get off at Spiez station (approximately 25 minutes). From Spiez, you will need to switch to a train heading to Kandersteg, which will take about 45 minutes. The Kandersteg train station is a short walk from Kandersteg International Scout Centre located at Wagetiweg 7.

Cable Car and Train
Begin at Mürren and head to the Mürren cable car station. Take the cable car down to Grütschalp. After disembarking, follow the signs to the train station, where you will catch the train to Lauterbrunnen. Once in Lauterbrunnen, board a train to Interlaken. At Interlaken, change trains to get to Kandersteg. The entire journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on wait times between transfers.
